Screen printing supplier Ryonet embraces the green movement and grows because of it.
Vancouver, WA based screen printing supply company Ryonet and Silkscreeningsupplies.com have begun to offer a new line of environmentally friendly inks and chemicals. The new “Enviroline” by Ryonet features water based screen printing inks, versus the more traditional petroleum based inks, and environmentally friendly biodegradable chemicals needed for the screen printing process. As prices of petroleum products continue to rise and consumer interests continue to turn to greener products, Ryonet leads the screen printing industry in both availability and education of environmentally friendly and water based products. In fact Ryonet is the first company to produce and offer an in depth training DVD on the advantages and use of these products so printers around the world can be more successful in this ever changing economy/environment.
Ryan Moor started the Ryonet Corporation in November of 2004, after designing and manufacturing a small screen printing press it placed for sale on E-Bay. The press sold quickly and the people who were buying these homemade print presses started asking about the availability of ink and other supplies. The next couple of months saw the development of a website, (www.silkscreeningsupplies.com), hiring of two more employees, signing on distributors and the need to acquire legitimate manufacturing space. In February of 2005, the company began the strategic process of hiring people with extensive backgrounds in both screen printing application and sales, looking to strengthen their position in the industry. Soon there after, Ryonet made a major transition in its business model, making the transition from buying product from distributors to buying directly from the manufacturer. This move was vital for the growth and expansion of the company.
With a dedication to customer service and a solid business plan, on April 1st 2005, the company moved in to a new facility, an 8300 square foot building in Vancouver, WA. The move was a necessity to keep up with growth in sales and manufacturing. Today, the Ryonet Corporation has grown from one employee to 40 employees, from working out of a garage to 2 locations spanning over 25,000 square feet and both the west and east coast. According to www.Compete.com (site ranking engine), SilkScreeningSupplies.com is now one of the most popular screen printing websites in the world, surpassing the likes of ScreenPrinters.net and even SGIA.org. Ryonet is continually working to be a innovator in the industry, reaching out to new domestic markets, making new products available, and even opening an international division to make their services available to the European and Asian markets.
With smart business strategy, on going training programs made available to it’s customers, dedicated customer service, a loyal work force and a supportive community, the Ryonet Corporation is poised to become the key distributor and sales company of the screen printing industry.
